A little about me…

I have had an ever-evolving career creating content for my own businesses as well as for others’. I studied history and retailing, and although I attended both of South Carolina’s Division I schools, I will always be a proud Clemson Tiger. I am the co-founder of a modern nail salon concept, PAINTBASE, here in Raleigh; in addition to my other duties, I have served as the CMO since we opened in 2015.

I have served as a copywriter and content creator in both freelance and in-house capacities in the retail, real estate and service industries. I really enjoy the writing and editing process and love helping people find cohesion in their overall branding. In my experience it is always hardest to write about yourself or your own projects and I enjoy helping others find their voice.

Additionally, as an entrepreneur who has taken several concepts from vision to reality, I can offer a sounding board for folks kicking around a new idea or struggling with how to get started. I don’t profess to be a business wiz, but I can help you through some of the pitfalls all entrepreneurs experience in their first steps. Sometimes having an outside voice can be a very useful resource in cutting through the noise.
